WINDSOR – Windsor senior John Manning scored six touchdowns, five rushing and one receiving and had 302 rushing yards as Windsor defeated East Hartford 53-26 Friday night in a CCC interdivisional football game.
East Hartford made it close through the third quarter when quarterback Dravyn Roberts scored on a 1-yard run with 7 seconds left to cut Windsor’s lead to 32-26.

But Manning scored on a 59-yard touchdown run with no time left on the clock and Matthew Nesheiwat’s kick gave the Warriors a 39-26 lead heading into the fourth.
East Hartford would not score again.
Manning had his first touchdown in the second quarter on a 3-yard run. He had a 27-yard touchdown later in the quarter and caught a 66-yard pass from Windsor quarterback AJ Robinson with 40 seconds left in the half to give the Warriors a 25-12 lead.
But Roberts, who rushed for 126 yards, cut into the lead again with a 37 yard touchdown run with no time left to make it 25-18, Windsor.
Manning had an 82-yard touchdown in the third, then the 59-yard TD.
